The "Folk story in the UAE,” is a book written by the Emirati  researcher   Aisha Saeed Al Zaabi  in 108 pages, published by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development  in 2009. It includes four chapters as following: "The Popular  Story," "patterns folk tale "," features and values in the Popular  stories "," popular story Characteristics , ""The  literary value of the popular  Story. "

 In the preface of her book the researcher said: "The popular heritage of any nation is an important inherited culture, highly appreciated by peoples struggling to preserve their originality and sophistication, and mobilize for this target thinkers and researchers efforts, looking seriously to reach the set objectives.

 The researcher adds: " We look with appreciation and consideration to all institutions and individuals who were interested in collecting with enthusiasm the heritage of our young country, while convinced that the   heritage material is the first solid basis for building, and the heritage is     the real façade of the past that makes the people of the region feel    proud of belonging to it."
